H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey had a telephone conversation today (25 November) with H.E. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Foreign Minister H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu conveyed to his counterpart information concerning the incident involving the Russian aircraft which was shot down due to its violation of Turkish airspace. During the conversation it was agreed to exchange details on the issue through diplomatic and military channels. It was also decided that both Ministers will meet in the upcoming days.
