We welcome the ceasefire declared in Yemen between the sides as of yesterday (10 April) midnight.

We hope that the ceasefire will be observed without violations and the direct negotiations which will start in Kuwait on 18 April to find a political solution to the conflict in the country will succeed as desired.

On this occasion, we reiterate our support to the efforts to re-establish the legitimate state authority in the whole country and to bring permanent peace, security and stability to the brotherly people of Yemen.
