The first session of the Turkish-Saudi Coordination Council will be held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey His Excellency Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Excellency Mr. Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir in Ankara on 7-8 February 2017.

At the first session of the Council, which was founded by “the Accord on the Establishment of the Turkish-Saudi Coordination Council” signed during the visit of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Turkey on 11-14 April 2016, the two sides will explore the prospective areas of cooperation to further develop bilateral relations in all fields. On the occasion of this Council meeting, the two sides will also exchange views on regional and international issues.

The Guest Minister is expected to be received by the President of the Republic of Turkey His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
