We welcome the announcement of a National Consensus Government in Sudan in line with the National Document adopted on 10 October 2016.
Turkey fully supports the political reconciliation and national dialogue efforts successfully undertaken in Sudan, a brotherly country with which we share deep rooted historical and cultural ties and which we consider as an important partner in Africa.
We are confident that the newly formed Government will contribute to the peace, welfare and stability of Sudan.
In this context, we would like to extend to the National Consensus Government our sincere wishes of success.
