We follow with concern the reports regarding the act of sabotage perpetrated against four commercial ships in the Gulf of Oman on 12 May 2019.

In this context, we would like to emphasize once again the importance we attach to the security of the Gulf region and maritime safety in the region.

On a separate note, we condemn the attack of the Houthi militias in Yemen on 14 May 2019 against two oil pumping facilities in the Yanbu port of Saudi Arabia by drones.

We call for avoiding any provocative steps that would undermine the security and stability of the region.
