14th Summit Conference of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will be held under the theme of “Makkah Al-Mukarramah Summit: Hand in Hand toward the Future” in Makkah on 31 May 2019.

H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, is going to to attend the Summit and the Meeting of Council of Foreign Ministers due to be held in Jeddah on 29 May 2019.

During the Summit, the leaders will address the common matters of concern for the Islamic World, such as Palestine, Islamophobia, extremism, mounting discourse of hatred against Muslims, problems of Muslim communities and minorities. A Final Communique will be adopted at the Summit.

Turkey assumed the OIC Summit Chairmanship in the 13^th Islamic Summit, which was held on 14-15 April 2016 in Istanbul and fulfilled it successfully for 3 years. At this Summit, Turkey will hand over the Chairmanship to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
